Les Genevez
All Claude Bernard watches are hand-assembled by qualified watchmakers in our Atelier in Les Genevez, Switzerland. The village sits in the Franches-Montagnes, in the canton of Jura, high on the plateau that has supplied the Swiss watch industry with movements, cases and watchmakers for generations. Roughly five hundred people live there.
It is a small place to build watches from, and that is the point. The people who assemble a Claude Bernard know the collection by hand, not by part number.
What we make
Seven collections, from thin two-hand dress watches to 200-metre divers, in quartz and in Swiss automatic. Sapphire crystals, transparent casebacks on the skeleton models, and a price architecture built for people buying their first serious Swiss watch or their fifth.
Swiss watchmaking within reach
We compete for the customer who cares about how a watch is made and where it comes from, and who does not accept that recognition should be the main thing they pay for. That has been the position since the beginning and it has not changed.
